That is a quote from the summary page of my LinkedIn account.  I’ve worked tirelessly in my career to pave the way for women in technology, to provide companies with the technology solutions to grow their business and to expand my own knowledge and experience.  However, there is more to my life than my career.

Of women recently surveyed, 80% felt they had a second full time job with their active and endless roles as wife and mother added to their career title. 

My goal behind developing Purposeful Woman is to create a place where women can come and engage in conversation, learn new tools to make their life more fulfilling and gather information that fosters a balance between work and life.

One Life, One Goal, One You

 I believe we have the power to make a difference and this community will share stories of each Purposeful Woman that is couragous enough to share her story from around the world.  Women thrive when they are part of a community.  We listen and learn from each other.  We encourage and cheer each other on, and Purposeful Woman is a website that fosters that “village” concept. 

I believe in the value of bringing women together.  In August 2008, I launched Tech Savvy Women (350+ members) to bring women with technology skills together across various industries to create relationships while enhancing their knowledge and network. Fostered by the success of Tech Savvy Women, in 2009, I have.

Participated on hundreds of panels and keynotes and serve as a board member and an author of articles for the Small Business Forums.
